Would the New Orleans Saints be up for a trade before the start of 2020 training camp with a team like the Buffalo Bills?
Despite finishing on top of the NFC South for a third season in a row last season, the New Orleans Saints realize they will have their work cut out for them in 2020 now that Tom Brady is officially part of the division.
Even if a case can be made that New Orleans still deserves to be the favorites over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the moment, the Saints realize the upcoming season will most likely be more competitive compared to the previous three years.
So if New Orleans really wanted to put themselves in better position to finish on top of the division for a fourth year in a row, they should explore the possibility of conducting a trade before the start of 2020 training camp.
If the Saints end up giving in, one team they should consider reaching out to is the Buffalo Bills, who were considered one of the biggest winners from the offseason led by the trade that brought speedster Stefon Diggs on board.
After earning a Wild Card spot for the second time in three years this past season, the Bills will enter the 2020 season with high expectations of their own, and even though they may not prefer to pull off a deal with a team like the Saints, it’s always a possibility.
To have a little fun to help pass the time in the offseason, if New Orleans were to convince Buffalo to agree to some sort of deal, here are a few dream trade targets that immediately come to mind.
