The Carolina Panthers could benefit from conducting a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.
With Matt Rhule officially on board as the new head coach, the Carolina Panthers hope to become relevant again in the NFC, although this will be easier said than done.
Between Luke Kuechly making the surprise decision to retire to Cam Newton still searching for a new team to join, the 2020 offseason has certainly been an interesting one for the Panthers.
But as long as Rhule puts Carolina in the best position possible to turn things around after all of the disappointment from the previous two seasons, this is all that really matters the most.
As far as Carolina’s top moves from offseason are concerned, well the team certainly came up big in free agency by convincing Teddy Bridgewater to come on board on top of focusing on the defensive side of the football during the draft.
However, with the way things are shaping up in the NFC South from a competitive perspective, the moves made in free agency and the draft may not be enough for the Panthers once the 2020 season officially gets underway.
So if Carolina wanted to pull off some sort of trade to put the team in better position to compete within the division, one team they should consider reaching out to is the Philadelphia Eagles.
Looking at Philadelphia’s current roster, there are a handful of players who seem like they could benefit Carolina in a big way, even if it seems like a long shot at the moment.
To have a little fun, if the Eagles were to somehow end up considering a potential trade before the start of training camp, here are three dream targets the Panthers should be pushing for the most.
