The Las Vegas Raiders could benefit from a trade with the Dallas Cowboys.

Will a fresh start in a new city finally help the Las Vegas Raiders emerge as a consistent contender once again in the AFC during the 2020 season?

Two years ago, the Raiders decided to break the bank by convincing Jon Gruden to return for a second stint with the hope of the head coach making an impact right away to help the team return to the playoffs.

While there have been a few enjoyable moments, the fact that Las Vegas has just 11 wins over the last two seasons shows what kind of pressure Gruden and company will be facing this upcoming season, or that hefty contract is going to look like a complete waste.

For the most part, the Raiders deserve to be considered one of the big winners from the offseason thanks to putting together a successful draft along with free agency, but there is still some room to improve before the start of training camp down the road.

In fact, if Las Vegas really wanted to put themselves in a better position to compete at a higher level during the 2020 season, the team should explore the possibility of conducting a trade.

If this were to somehow happen, one team the Raiders could benefit from working out a deal with is the Dallas Cowboys, who are facing plenty of pressure as well to return to the playoffs after coming up short last season.

Then again, the pressure Dallas is already feeling may result in the team being hesitant towards making a deal involving one of their key players.

But if the Cowboys were to be more open-minded, here are a few dream trade targets the Raiders should pursue before training camp starts later in the summer.
