2. Connor Williams

One of the main reasons behind the decision to hire Gruden two years ago was his previous experience in developing quarterbacks to help Derek Carr find a way to take the offense to a new level.

While the argument can be made that Las Vegas hasn’t exactly done the best job in building the proper offense around Carr since they previously got rid of key players such as Amari Cooper, at least 2020 will see plenty of talent for the Raiders quarterback to work with.

Of course, as great of weapons as Carr may have, he will also need to receive the proper protection from the offensive line to avoid the unnecessary hits.

And while Las Vegas currently has a few key members for Carr to work with, there is always room for improvement.

The chances of Dallas giving up someone like Connor Williams in a trade may seem like a long shot at the moment since they need the same kind of protection for Dak Prescott, but also the Raiders could always make a fair offer that would be difficult to turn down.

What would make a trade like this even more exciting for the Raiders is with Williams only entering his third season in the league, the lineman still has a long future ahead of him to help provide the best protection possible.
