Cornerbacks (6): Tre’Davious White, Josh Norman, Levi Wallace, Siran Neal, Taron Johnson, E.J. Gaines

Last season, the Bills were holding on for dear life at the cornerback position towards the end of the season. When the Bills rested their starters in Week 17, they were forced to play wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie at cornerback after Levi Wallace suffered an injury during the game. The Bills added a few pieces this offseason to prevent that from happening again.

I believe White and Norman will begin the season as the incumbent starters. The Buffalo brass is hopeful former Panther and Redskin Josh Norman can experience a career resurrection playing as the CB2 next to All-Pro Tre’Davious White; I wouldn’t be surprised for him to get the starting nod to begin the season.

Levi Wallace will come in as the CB3 after a solid season in 2019 and Siran Neal will split time as a cornerback and safety if needed.

Taron Johnson and E.J. Gaines will round out this unit, as the former excels from the slot and the latter has familiarity with McDermott’s scheme given he played for Buffalo in 2017.

Johnson and Gaines have dealt with health issues in the past, but the Bills are hopeful they’ll be able to stay upright if their playing time is limited to that of a reserve.
