It’d be a dream to see these NFL quarterback-wide receiver duos on the field.

In fantasy football, team owners can put together combinations of NFL players and units featuring superstar quarterbacks with playmakers from other teams. Fans can also go through this exercise in video games like Madden, signing and trading for players to create dream pairings.

Today, we’ll do a similar exercise by examining some NFL quarterback-wide receiver combinations we’d love to see in real life.

For the sake of originality, each quarterback and wide receiver can only appear once. Because of this, you may encounter some new combinations you’ve never considered before, especially toward the bottom of the top 10. The entire list includes active NFL players and their current capabilities.

10. Deshaun Watson and Kenny Golladay

For the first three years of his career, Deshaun Watson enjoyed growing alongside DeAndre Hopkins. The two Clemson products flourished together with Hopkins earning First-Team All-Pro honors three consecutive times and Watson making two Pro Bowls. However, Bill O’Brien traded Hopkins to Arizona this offseason, leaving Watson in need of a new elite wide receiver.

Kenny Golladay is still a few years away from reaching a level where he could compete for an All-Pro bid, but the potential is there. This past season, Golladay recorded 65 receptions, 1,190 yards, and a league-leading 11 receiving touchdowns despite playing with David Blough and Jeff Driskel at quarterback for half of the year.

Golladay, like Watson, is also a member of the 2017 draft class. As the two players prepare for their fourth season in the league, both sit slightly outside the elite category at their respective positions. It would be awesome to see these two players develop together and hopefully become a part of the next great wave of NFL talent.
