Best AFC South uniforms
Indianapolis Colts: All-Blues
The Colts don’t have much to offer in terms of apparel. That’s why this wasn’t a hard choice to make, though I swear I’m not just choosing alternate uniforms. I’m scratching my head about why the team only wore this combination once last season.
When paired with their blue tops, the blue pants adds a little flavor to a relatively flavorless brand. I’m not saying the Colts’ look is bad, I just like when teams add some variance to their uniforms. That’s what Indianapolis did here.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Black Jerseys with Teal Pants
I went into this assuming that I would pick the Jaguars’ teal tops, but the pants annoy the heck out of me. Aside from some strange trim at the bottom, they’re just plain white or black pants, and they don’t pair well with the rest of the look.
I ultimately settled on black jerseys with teal pants because they establish a more attractive color continuity within the uniform. The teal jerseys are beautiful, but this uniform flows better.
Houston Texans: Navy Color Rush
The red jerseys are the better jerseys, but this look is better overall. Houston is one of the few teams in American sports than can incorporate a heavier dose of red or blue in their uniforms due to the shades of the colors. The red numbers glisten off the “deep steel blue” to the white trim. The blue pants help the red and white stick out in a good way, too.
Tennessee Titans: Light Blue Jerseys with Navy Pants
Tennessee has quite a few options to wear on gamedays. They only wore this combo twice last season, and I think that’s a disservice to football fans. By pairing the “Titans Blue” jerseys with navy pants, the team doesn’t dip into either color too heavily. Also, the white outline complements the navy numbers well.
