NFL Predictions 2020: One surprise rookie gem who will star for each team

Houston Texans: Isaiah Coulter, WR
This offseason, the Houston Texans made one of the weirdest moves off all-time. Head coach Bill O’Brien decided to move on from DeAndre Hopkins despite the fact that he’s one of the best wideouts in the NFL. Before trading him though, O’Brien made sure to insult Hopkins — who has never been in any trouble at all off the field — by comparing him to Aaron Hernandez. Yes, that Aaron Hernandez.
In an unsurprising turn of events, Hopkins was bothered by this comparison and it wasn’t long before the two sides were no longer together. For Hopkins, it’s a great new beginning as he’s able to get away from O’Brien, but for the Texans, it won’t be too easy to replace him.
Currently, they will be turning to Brandin Cooks as the No. 1 target, who they added in a trade with the Rams. They also signed Randall Cobb, who is coming off a solid season in Dallas, but there are questions about the contract he was given by O’Brien.
The corps is rounded out with Kenny Stills and Keke Coutee, all players who can perform but also have some concerns around them — mostly with health. For that reason, someone such as Isaiah Coulter could be given an opportunity.
A sleeper pick out of Rhode Island, Coulter looks the part of an NFL receiver and gives the Texans some much-needed size on the outside. He’s also able to test defenses deep, evidenced by his 4.45 time in the 40-yard dash.
Don’t expect him to make fans forget about Hopkins anytime soon, but Coulter has the look of an NFL receiver and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him outplay his draft status.
