NFL Predictions 2020: One surprise rookie gem who will star for each team

Cleveland Browns: Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR
Kevin Stefanski, the Cleveland Browns rookie head coach, and Andrew Berry, their rookie general manager, have had a great first offseason together. Cleveland took forever to hire these two but it looks as though they might have gotten it right.
Last season, Freddie Kitchens was the head coach and he was simply not the right fit. He seemed to be unorganized and his game plan consisted of shooting from the hip. He was also making some poor choices like wearing the “Pittsburgh started it” shirt after the Myles Garrett helmet fiasco.
Stefanski seems to be the complete opposite of Kitchens as he is calculated and quiet away from the field. Berry also seems to be the exact opposite of Dorsey, who failed to build a complete roster and seemed to absolutely hate depth. Sure, he loved superstars but he had no need for backups that could perform.
Berry, on the other hand, is building a roster that’s deep and competitive. For instance, at wide receiver, he re-signed Rashard Higgins and drafted Donovan Peoples-Jones. Higgins was a favorite target for Baker Mayfield before Kitchens decided to bench him and leave him there. But it won’t be easy for him to keep DPJ on the sidelines.
Peoples-Jones is a savvy route-runner with excellent size and speed. His numbers at Michigan don’t do his skill-level justice and he could be a much better pro than he was a collegiate player. On top of that, Peoples-Jones also had some success as a punt returner, something he can do again with the Browns. There are a couple of ways he can help the team, making him one of the better sixth-round picks this season.
