The Minnesota Vikings have big questions to answer for the 2020 season.
One of the NFL teams that’s experienced a decent amount of turnover throughout the offseason has been the Minnesota Vikings. After losing players throughout the depth chart and on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, the Vikings will be without a lot of key players in 2020 that took the field last year.
Even with those departures, Minnesota will look to return to the playoffs and once again be able to put together a double-digit win season after compiling a record of 10-6 and earning an NFC Wild Card spot in the postseason in 2019.
Looking at the layout of the NFC North in the 2020 season, the Vikings will still be in a position to put together a strong campaign while being an early favorite to claim the division alongside the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions.
With expectations of reaching the playoffs once again remaining in Minnesota, there are some early questions that have arose during offseason, such as how the Vikings will look on defense, if they will continue to rely heavily on the running game and who will take over in key spots throughout the depth chart.
With the regular season set and the Vikings gearing up for the year, let’s take a dive into some of those questions and come up with five of the biggest question mark lying ahead for the purple and gold as they head into the new year.
