NFL Power Rankings: Chiefs, Ravens remain hot as facilities begin to reopen

This offseason went very well for the Denver Broncos. They finished 2019 on a high note thanks to the performance of rookie quarterback Drew Lock who showed off a strong arm and impressive accuracy. He was able to connect often with his young weapons such as wide receiver Courtland Sutton and tight end Noah Fant.
Then in the draft, general manager John Elway made sure to focus on getting Lock more options in the offense. In the first round, they added Jerry Jeudy, giving them a perfect complement to Sutton. They weren’t done there as deep threat K.J. Hamler was also added as was Lock’s tight end from Missouri, Albert Okwuegbunam who could prove to be a steal as a fourth-round pick.
Denver also added another running back as they picked up Melvin Gordon, who they know well since they faced him twice per season while he was with the Los Angeles Chargers. They’re definitely crowded at the position now with Gordon joining Philip Lindsay and Royce Freeman already on the roster, but it’s hard to argue Gordon’s addition doesn’t make them better.
As long as their defense can be good, which should be the case with Von Miller, Bradley Chubb, and A.J. Bouye onboard, the Broncos could be a team to watch for this season.
