NFL Power Rankings: Chiefs, Ravens remain hot as facilities begin to reopen
By Randy Gurzi
You might have heard, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a new starting quarterback. A year after watching Jameis Winston become the first quarterback to ever throw 30 touchdowns and 20 interceptions in the same season, they signed former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
After spending the past two decades with New England, and winning six Super Bowls with them, the soon-to-be 43-year-old is taking over a completely new offense with Bruce Arians in Tampa Bay.
Brady has more rings than any other player and his titles match that of any franchise in league history. And now in Tampa Bay, he hopes to be the missing piece for a team that hasn’t been to the postseason since 2007. The good news is, he has more than enough weapons to get into the postseason with his new club.
At wide receiver, the Bucs have Mike Evans and Chris Godwin then at tight end they have O.J. Howard, Cameron Brate, and newly acquired Rob Gronkowski who was a star for the Patriots along with Brady before retiring ahead of last season. He un-retired to rejoin his friend in Florida and they’re now part of a team that should be able to contend for the NFC South title.
