The 2020 regular season was absolutely dominated by the Baltimore Ravens. They struggled out of the gates and after four weeks, they were tied with the Cleveland Browns with a 2-2 record — and had just been beaten badly by Cleveland. They didn’t let that loss define them though, as they instead seemed to use it to fuel an amazing run of 12-straight wins.

Lamar Jackson continues to make his doubters look foolish as he has not only become an amazing threat both in the passing and running game, but he also won the 2019 NFL MVP for his work during his second season in the league. The funny thing is Jackson was the fifth quarterback taken in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft and he has far and away exceeded Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, and Josh Rosen.

Unfortunately for Jackson and the Ravens, they haven’t been able to find success in the postseason. While he owns an unbelievable 19-3 mark in the regular season as a starter, Jackson is now 0-for-2 in the playoffs.

Baltimore hopes to have added enough talent around him to help alleviate that issue as they hit several home runs in the 2020 NFL Draft. Their top three picks of Patrick Queen, J.K. Dobbins, and Justin Madubuile were great but they also found some potential steals with Devin Duvernay, James Proche, and Ben Bredeson.

A solid roster only got better this offseason and that makes the Ravens one of the few teams capable of knocking off the No. 1 team in these 2020 NFL Power Rankings.
