6. Quenton Nelson, OG, Indianapolis Colts

Considering that he was a top-10 pick by the Indianapolis Colts, offensive guard Quenton Nelson was drafted to be a game-changer in the trenches. While he has a great unit around him, the Notre Dame product has been as good as advertised.

In two seasons in the league, Nelson has earned two First-Team All-Pro selections and two Pro Bowl selections as well. According to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), Nelson was the second-highest graded guard in the league last season, coming in with an elite-level 91.2.

Nelson should only get better and, with his dominant play-style on the interior of the O-line, he should be the only 99-rated offensive lineman in Madden 21.

5. Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

This one is pretty much a given seeing how Lamar Jackson is on the cover of Madden 21. Whenever you’re the reigning NFL MVP and the cover athlete for the game, chances are you’re going to be one of the highest-rated players in the game.

Jackson will be a nightmare to play against in Madden — if you don’t already think he is. His rushing ability from the quarterback position is running back-like. Jackson should have elite speed ratings with great elusiveness. Oh yeah, he can also sling it.

When you factor in his arm strength and ability to push the ball down the field deep with his athleticism, along with him being the cover athlete, he’s a shoo-in to join the 99 Club this year.
