11. Mark Ingram, Baltimore Ravens

The son of a former Super Bowl champion, Ingram entered the NFL as the 28th overall pick in 2011. Ingram won the Heisman Trophy in 2009, and he led the Alabama Crimson Tide to an undefeated record and the BCS National Championship. Injuries hampered Ingram in 2010, but the New Orleans Saints still used a first-round pick on him.

Ingram experienced mixed success in New Orleans. He made the Pro Bowl in 2014 and 2017 while rushing for over 1,000 yards in 2016 and 2017, but Ingram never asserted himself as a superstar running back.

After a suspension-shortened season in 2018, Ingram signed a three-year, $15 million contract with the Ravens last offseason. The pairing worked perfectly. Behind Baltimore’s dominant offensive line, Ingram averaged 5.0 yards per attempt as he racked up 1,018 yards and ten rushing touchdowns. He also scored a career-high five receiving touchdowns.

Ingram faces an interesting predicament. He could win a Super Bowl with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens soon, but Baltimore might release the 30-year-old after the 2020 season.

There’s an out in Ingram’s contract after this coming season that would generate just over $1.3 million in dead cap. Baltimore drafted Ohio State’s J.K. Dobbins with 55th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
