The Minnesota Vikings could improve the roster with these free agents for 2020.

With the offseason continuing to roll along for the Minnesota Vikings and the rest of the NFL leading into the upcoming 2020 season, the roster is starting to take shape for Minnesota nearing offseason workouts and eventually training camp.

After multiple moves made and additions brought onto the roster via free agency and the annual NFL Draft, we now have an early look at the Vikings depth chart while still spotting some needs throughout the roster going into the 2020 campaign.

After the departure of key players both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball this offseason, Minnesota will return a bulk of staple players to the squad this year while it hopes to ultimately return to the postseason for a second consecutive season.

Last season, the Vikings were able to put together a double-digit win season after compiling a record of 10-6 and earning an NFC Wild Card spot in the playoffs.

Looking at the layout of the NFC North in the 2020 season, Minnesota will still be in a position to put together a strong campaign while being an early favorite to claim the division alongside the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions.

But before training camp commences and preseason action begins in Minnesota, there are still some potential players out on the free-agent market that the team could try and sign to add to the mix of the roster this year.

Let’s look at five free agent targets that are still available for the Vikings to take a look at for the 2020 campaign.
