One NFL player you forgot played for your favorite team

Kansas City Chiefs – Warren Moon
Warren Moon played professional football in four different decades. He began his career in the CFL back in 1978, where he played for six seasons. He finally retired following the 2000 campaign, which gave him a total of 23 seasons of pro ball.
Moon was a collegiate star but was undrafted and went the CFL route, where he played for the Edmonton Eskimos before joining the NFL in 194. He rose to fame with the Houston Oilers, who signed him after his successful run up north, although he had his share of bidders by then. For the Oilers, he threw for 33,685 yards with 196 touchdowns and 166 picks.
At the age of 38, he again began a new chapter as he joined the Minnesota Vikings. He wasn’t there nearly as long as he was in Houston, but his three seasons in Minnesota were impressive. Moon was 21-18 as a starter for them and threw for at least 4,000-yards in each of his first two seasons there. Eventually, he was replaced by Brad Johnson and Moon had another strong campaign after that.
In 1997, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks and made the Pro Bowl that year. He started 10 more games in 1998 at the age of 42 but that wasn’t the end. Moon had one more act as he spent 1999 and 2000 as the backup for the Kansas City Chiefs. He started just one game for them and in his career there, Moon had 228 yards with a touchdown and one pick.
