Tennessee Titans – Randy Moss

There could be two names here, one for each of the nicknames this franchise has been known as. Originally the Houston Oilers, the team once had Archie Manning under center for a forgettable eight games — he lost all eight of those contests.

However, Manning was already looked at as a member of the Minnesota Vikings, which is where he went following his unsuccessful stint with Houston.

That gives the tiebreaker to another star player who played for the team once they were known as the Tennessee Titans — Randy Moss. One of the best receivers to ever play the game, Moss had worn out his welcome in Minnesota and was sent to the Oakland Raiders.

Following two forgetful campaigns there, he went to the New England Patriots where he returned to the Hall of Fame form we all remember.

However, he eventually frustrated Bill Belichick when he went to the media about his contract and was sent back to the Vikings. Moss made it through four games there and after saying Brad Childress was unfit to coach, he was waived and claimed by the Tennessee Titans.

Moss played eight games for the Titans and had nearly no impact on the team whatsoever. He finished those eight games with six catches for 80 yards. It was the worst season of his career but who would expect anything different when you play for three teams in such a short span.

He would retire following that dreadful season but did return for one more year with the San Francisco 49ers. That wasn’t a great season but it was much more memorable than his time with the Titans.
