One NFL player you forgot played for your favorite team

Dallas Cowboys – Randall Cunningham
For years, the Dallas Cowboys had to figure out how to slow down one of the more dynamic weapons in the NFL. Randall Cunningham was a Philadelphia Eagles quarterback for 11 seasons and during that time, he proved to be one of the biggest dual-threats in the game.
Cunningham possessed a strong arm and could fit the ball into some tight windows. He was also a sensational runner when he decided to take off with the ball. After taking over as the starter in Philly, he had three-straight Pro Bowl seasons from 1988 through 1990 and was even selected as the MVP by the PFWA — although the official award went to Joe Montana.
Following his tenure in Philadelphia, Cunningham went to Minnesota and was 13-1 in the 1998 season as the starter there. That was one of the better passing seasons of his career as the 35-year-old had 3,704 yards with 34 touchdowns against just 10 picks.
He’s fondly remembered for that season as well, but it’s still the days of wearing the kelly green that stands out when thinking of Randall Cunningham. What doesn’t stick out is wearing the Dallas Cowboys star on his helmet, which he did in the year 2000.
Signed as a backup to Troy Aikman, Cunningham was called into action when Aikman suffered a concussion. He just 1-2 as the starter but had some good numbers as he threw for 849 yards with a 6-to-4 touchdown to interception ratio.
Dallas moved on the following season from both Aikman and Cunningham and sent themselves into a long stint into quarterback purgatory.
