For as much time as fantasy football managers spend researching players, strategies and how to build a winning team, many spend just as much time dreaming up fantasy football team names. Because, as we all know, a fantasy team is only as good as the name given to the squad — that’s just science.
Of course, coming up with the right fantasy football team names is much easier said than done. Many fans want to name their fantasy squad something that either correlates to their roster or something that has to do with their favorite team. And finding that perfect name can be quite elusive at times.

Murray Up Offense (Arizona Cardinals)
Anyone who doubted what Kyler Murray would be able to do at the NFL level with the Arizona Cardinals is looking silly at this point. Off of winning Offensive Rookie of the Year, though, even bigger things are expected from the second-year quarterback. And the fact that he has an ADP of 59th (QB4) is indicative of exactly that.
Having said that, there’s every reason to be high on the second-year signal-caller. Murray shined last season and now has DeAndre Hopkins joining a young, explosive offense. Throw in running back Kenyan Drake, who starred for the Cards once they acquired him via trade last year, and this offense could light the league on fire. That means Murray has fantasy superstar potential in 2020.

Large Shake w/ Gurley Fries (Atlanta Falcons)
Yes, it’s far more likely that more fantasy football team names will include Matt Ryan or Julio Jones than they will Todd Gurley — but this name is just too good for me not to consider the top option. And the former Rams running back that the Atlanta Falcons pounced on following his release this offseason has massive sleeper potential, especially if he’s truly healthy.
Gurley is currently going as RB19 in half-PPR leagues right now. He’s now behind a better offensive line than he had last year in Los Angeles and could possibly have a career resurgence. It’s a gamble to have him on your fantasy roster but one that could pay off big time.
