Funny fantasy football team names for fans of every NFL team

Thomas the Saints Engine (New Orleans Saints)

Fresh off of setting the NFL single-season record for receptions, Michael Thomas is almost surely going to be the first wide receiver and first running back coming off of the board in fantasy football drafts this season. The New Orleans Saints pass-catchers is just a target hog and, even if the offense did add Emmanuel Sanders this offseason, that’s likely not changing too much.

For me, the more curious thing to watch in the Big Easy this season is running back Alvin Kamara. We all know his talent and versatility as a runner and pass-catcher out of the backfield. What we don’t know, though, is if he can stay healthy for 16 games or if he’s going to be able to bounce back after what many might consider a down year in the 2019 season.

Saquon The Chef (New York Giants)

Just given the current state of the roster and perhaps your feelings on second-year wide receiver Darius Slayton, there are really only two options for Giants fans when it comes to fantasy football team names and the players you want to base them on: Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones. The former, of course, is the surer thing.

Barkley’s elite talent should be allowed to shine in a much bigger way in the 2020 season. The offensive line is improved and, now that Jones has almost a full season under his belt, that should help open up the offense for him a bit as well. On the whole, this could be a monster season for the current RB2 according to ADP.
