Chark Week (Jacksonville Jaguars)

DJ Chark didn’t have a ton of fans when the Jacksonville Jaguars made him a second-round pick but the wide receiver is making anyone who wasn’t a fan look silly. So why not honor that and one of the best annual events on television with your fantasy football team name? That only stands to reason, right?

The Jaguars as a whole, though, are going to be interesting to watch from a fantasy perspective this season. Chark should be good but, then again, his lone ranger status in the passing offense is concerning. Meanwhile, Leonard Fournette and Gardner Minshew are both wild cards who could just as easily be top five as they could crash and burn.

Mahomes Is Where The Heart Is (Kansas City Chiefs)

Hmm, I wonder who most Kansas City Chiefs fans are going to try and name their fantasy team after? Perhaps the 2018 NFL MVP, Super Bowl LIV MVP and possibly the best quarterback in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes, would be the best option. And there are plenty of options (Chillin’ With Mahomies, Mahomes on the Range, etc.) for fans to choose from.

Because he’s the most obvious star, that’s why the Mahomes team name gets featured status. Having said that, rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire could be fun to play with. Just as much as that, Andy Reid deserves a fantasy team name homage as much or more than anyone.
