Even as a rookie on a pedestrian overall offense in then-Oakland, Josh Jacobs showed that he has the potential to be one of the best running backs in the NFL. In the 2020 season, many fantasy football managers will be banking on that as he’s going off the board as an easy top-10 running back, making him a cornerstone for many teams.

The question in fantasy for the Raiders is what the offense will look like outside of Jacobs. Will Henry Ruggs III have value as a speedster? Can Darren Waller stay as one of the best tight ends in the league? All of this and more might depend on Derek Carr (or Marcus Mariota) and what they can do throwing.

Ekeler In the Crowd (Los Angeles Chargers)

Full disclosure, I spent more time than I’m proud of trying to find a team name that included Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler. He’s the best fantasy target in my opinion, especially with Tyrod Taylor at quarterback. Thus, I wanted him in this spot but had to settle for something playing with the notion of a “Heckler” in the crowd.

Even if the fantasy football team name is lacking a bit, Ekeler’s ability as a pass-catching running back with value on the ground as well should help managers really take some nice stock in what he’s capable of. Don’t sleep on Ekeler just because the Bolts aren’t exactly the most exciting team to consider this season.
