New Orleans Saints: Guard

There are very few areas of concern for the New Orleans Saints — if any at all. Heading into the offseason, they needed help at wide receiver behind Michael Thomas, which they found with the addition of Emmanuel Sanders. They also were short on linebackers but landing Zack Baun in the third round was a steal that solidified that group.

Some could argue the secondary beyond Marshon Lattimore, but the fact is they have Janoris Jenkins who is a solid No. 2 corner.

In the end, the one spot that could be a problem for New Orleans is at guard. They re-signed Andrus Peat and might have overpaid him and could be starting Cesar Ruiz at the other spot. Ruiz is a stud but as a rookie could have some growing pains. Again, this is nit-picking because this team is rather solid.

New York Giants: EDGE Rush

The New York Giants were one of three teams in the NFC East to change coaches and they have the most uncertainty surrounding their hire. Joe Judge is a relative unknown who will be guiding this team in their first post-Eli Manning season.

Judge has an offensive background but it’s the Giants defense that has the major questions — especially when it comes to rushing the passer. Right now, Lorenzo Carter and Kyler Fackrell look to be their most accomplished edge rushers. That’s not going to be enough.
