Dallas Cowboys: Tight End

Back in 2018, the Dallas Cowboys entered the season with Geoff Swaim, Blake Jarwin, and Dalton Schultz as their tight ends — and that was a unit that wasn’t getting much respect around the league. Jason Witten returned last season which gave them more experience but as the year went on, he slowed down and it seemed as though he was starting to become a progress stopper for Jarwin.

This season, Jarwin leads the team with Schultz returning as one of the two backups — along with free-agent addition Blake Bell. The trio looks very similar to what they had in 2018 and while Jarwin has improved dramatically since then, there are still more questions than answers.

Dallas also made it a little more difficult on themselves as they gave Jarwin a healthy extension this offseason proving they believe in him. Still, he has to prove it on the field and if he can’t, there aren’t many other options for them.

Denver Broncos: Offensive Tackle

A former first-round pick, Garrett Bolles was supposed to be the long-term answer for the Denver Broncos. To date, that hasn’t happened and the team even declined the fifth-year on his rookie deal.

This makes 2020 a huge season for Bolles. The good news for him is that the Broncos didn’t draft a replacement this season. The bad news for the team is they can’t do much if he continues to struggle.
