Scouting Report. QB. Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger. player. Pick Analysis. 16. 55

It wasn’t too long ago that Ben Roethlisberger was in the top-5 for quarterback rankings but he’s fallen back some over the past year-plus. Big Ben was able to play in only two games for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season before suffering an elbow injury that required surgery. He was 0-2 in those starts but is now 2-6 as the starter in his last eight games.

For his career, he’s been one of the most consistent winners, so the recent trend is a bit alarming. Perhaps now that he’s fully healthy he’ll get back on track but at 38-years old, he’s been struggling to stay fully healthy for long.

Big Ben has taken a beating for much of his career due to his style of play. It could finally be catching up to him.

player. Scouting Report. Tennessee Titans. Ryan Tannehill. 15. 35. Pick Analysis. QB

This offseason, Ryan Tannehill made a whole lot of money as the Tennessee Titans decided to lock him up with nearly $30 million per season. Sure, that’s the going rate for quarterbacks apparently, but this is a guy who completed less than 10 passes in each of the team’s first two playoff games last season.

Even with that being the case, it’s hard to argue that the Titans weren’t significantly better with Tannehill under center than they were with Marcus Mariota. Yes, they were still a great running team but the threat to actually do something with the pass was enough for them to take the next step as an offense. For that reason, Tannehill found himself getting a massive payday.
