2020 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings: Cam Newton signing shakes things up

Russell Wilson has gone through a lot of changes in his football career. After a successful career with the North Carolina State Wolfpack, Wilson was a graduate transfer who finished his career at Wisconsin. As good as he was, there were still a lot of questions about him — most of which centered around his height.
Wilson, who stands 5-foot-11, was a two-sport star and was drafted by the Colorado Rockies. Many suggested he should stick to baseball given his size and it likely wouldn’t have been a bad move since he was already performing in the minor leagues.
Football remained his top priority though and the Seattle Seahawks gave him a shot as a third-round pick. Wilson started out his career as their starter and was considered a game manager. He even won a Super Bowl in his second season while mainly differing to running back Marshawn Lynch and their incredible defense.
Eventually, he made another transformation as Wilson continued to evolve as a passer. His accuracy was always insane but now, he has become an amazing leader who can pick apart a defense with his pre-snap reads. He understands how to attack defenses and when to go to his check-downs and play for the next down — an underrated trait.
He now enters 2020 on a crazy hot streak which has seen him throw 100 touchdown passes and just 23 interceptions over the past three seasons. Throw in his ability to run the ball and hurt defenses and you have one of the absolute best in the game.
