2020 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings: Cam Newton signing shakes things up

Clearly, if this was a mustache ranking, there would be only one way to go. Gardner Minshew gave Jacksonville Jaguars fans Minshew-mania last season as the sixth-round pick was able to step in for an injured Nick Foles and go 6-6.
With Foles traded to the Chicago Bears this offseason, Minshew is now the man in Jacksonville. This is his team, but he’s on a year-by-year trial. While he played well as a rookie, there’s not a lot invested in him and if they can’t win this season, they could go elsewhere.
The team hasn’t made it easy on him either as they moved on from some of their better veteran defenders this season, leading to a belief they could be tanking for Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence — which could make Minshew’s tenure short-lived.
Washington added Dwayne Haskins out of Ohio State last season and he was considered rather raw. He didn’t have a lot of experience as he was a full-time starter for just one season. He showed a ton of promise in that season but he was expected to sit for at least a year in the NFL before starting.
As is often the case, that plan didn’t work out. Haskins ended up starting seven games as a rookie and was 2-5 in those starts. He started to show improvement as the season went on and does have the talent to be the answer. He just has to put it all together.
