The Green Bay Packers have some unheralded names on their current roster. Here are the five most underrated Packers heading into 2020.

The Green Bay Packers will report to training camp ahead of the 2020 NFL season in less than a month, with many well-known players capturing the spotlight. While the Packers have a few star-studded names, others deserve more praise than they’re given. Green Bay has several underrated players who deserve more attention.

Every NFL team has a few players who slip under the radar, sometimes for their entire career. Without underrated contributors, teams wouldn’t have a complete roster. The Packers are no different. Heading into 2020, Green Bay will rely on several players who aren’t household names in order to return to the NFC Championship game.

While it could be argued what the definition of underrated means, we interpret it as a player who has yet to gain national recognition among the general population of NFL fandom. A good indicator of this is the Pro Bowl vote. Every year, fans are included in selecting which players are named to the Pro Bowl. And every year, many deserving players are left off the list in favor of household names.

Sometimes this could be a good thing, since being snubbed just adds fuel to the fire for many players. Unfortunately, the number of Pro Bowl berths next to a player’s name is often seen as an indicator of how talented a player is, which just isn’t the case.

While some die-hard Packers fans may know the names on the list we provided for our top five underrated Packers players, it’s important to note that many casual fans don’t know these names (yet). We provided in-depth analysis for why we believe these players are underrated. So, without further ado, here are the Green Bay Packers’ five most underrated players heading into 2020.
