2. Kenny Clark, NT

After a few years of showing dominance up front, nose tackle Kenny Clark was finally selected to the Pro Bowl in 2019. Ironically, it wasn’t even Clark’s best season as a pro. Still, it could be argued the former first-round pick is the Packers’ best player on defense entering 2020.

Clark was easily the Packers’ best run-stuffer last season. Though Green Bay struggled as a whole at stopping the run, Clark was a main cog in clogging up running lanes. He was often double-teamed, but still managed to tally 39 run stops, according to Pro Football Focus (subscription required). He played a career-high 342 snaps against the run.

Stopping the run isn’t the only thing he can do, though. Despite weighing 315 pounds, Clark is a capable pass-rusher. He tied his career-high for sacks (six) and notched seven quarterback hits in 2019. Clark now has 16.5 sacks in four seasons. For a player his size, the ability to rush the passer is a major plus.

Clark is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after the 2020 season. Green Bay and Clark have been in talks on a contract extension, though nothing is imminent at the moment.
