Here are three of the top targets for the Atlanta Falcons on offense during the 2020 regular season.

The 2020 NFL campaign is already an important one for the Atlanta Falcons before play officially kicks off in the regular season. After failing to reach the postseason in each of the last two years while finishing below the .500 mark in each of those years, Atlanta will be on a mission early on in the year to bounce back and hit the ground running during the 16-game regular-season schedule to end that streak.

As they also did at the conclusion of the 2018 season, the 2019 campaign a year ago resulted in the Falcons concluding the season with a record of 7-9 overall and being left out of the playoff field once again.

With that 7-9 record, which included the Falcons finishing the year strong with winning four straight and six of their last eight contests, Atlanta finished second in the NFC South standings behind the first-place and 2019 division champions New Orleans Saints, while tying the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for second and finishing just ahead of the Carolina Panthers at the bottom of the NFC South.

Going into 2020, the NFC South is stacked full of talent among the four teams after the Saints, Buccaneers and Panthers all added to their potent offenses this offseason to go alongside Atlanta’s already-talented squad on offense. The Falcons could still navigate through those tough slate of games to be able to return to the playoffs at the end of the year.

Leading into the upcoming season with a few new faces filling in within Atlanta’s offense but a bulk of the top-notch unit returning from a year ago, the Falcons will once again rely heavily on their offensive group to lead the charge and avoid an early-season collapse like in 2019.

As Atlanta looks to jump back into relevancy in the league and also end a pair of disappointing performances over the past few seasons, let’s take a look at three top targets that will be present on an offensive unit that has been one of the best in the NFL over the last few years.
