2. Dalvin Cook

Madden 21 rating: 91

Coming in at No. 2 on the list of top-rated Minnesota players according to Madden 21 and the top player on the offensive side of the ball is Vikings running back Dalvin Cook.

Cook was the focal point of the offensive in Minnesota a season ago and there’s no doubt that he will once again emerge as that type of player for Mike Zimmer and company in 2020. That is if Cook and the organization can come to an agreement on some sort of contract extension before the year commences.

While getting an overall rating of 91, which is ranked fifth among running backs in the NFL on Madden 21, Cook received attribute ratings of 92 in speed, 92 in acceleration, 74 in strength, 94 in agility, 86 in awareness, 67 in catching ability, 87 in carrying ability, 88 in breaking tackles, 77 in jumping ability, 84 in injury, 81 in toughness and 92 in ball carrying vision, to list a few.

During the 2019 season, Cook had the best year of his career en route to earning the first Pro Bowl nod of his career. Wrapping up his third year in the NFL and with the Vikings a season ago, Cook finished the campaign appearing in 14 games along with career-highs of 250 rushes, 1,135 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. The 24-year-old also hauled in 53 catches for 519 yards through the air.

If he can stay healthy and ultimately does receive a new deal to keep him in Minnesota beyond this season, Cook will once again be at the center of everything the Vikings do on offense during the 2020 season.
