2. Will Michael Thomas have another record-breaking year?

While the 2020 New Orleans Saints might look a little different, one player has remained consistent and that’s Michael Thomas. Last season was Thomas’ MVP year and the sky is truly the limit for him. Even with Brees sustaining an injury, Thomas proved his worth and showed he doesn’t need a future HOFer to make himself great. As for the 2020 season, will we see more of the same from Thomas?

More specifically, will 2020 be another record-breaking year for Thomas? Even with the new additions at wide receiver, Thomas is still the no. 1 guy. After signing his contract last year, he was an absolute beast and the same could happen this year.

The answer should be a resounding yes as Thomas earned a 99 rating on Madden. Even if he doesn’t have a record-breaking year, Thomas is set for another huge year with the Saints. With a healthy Brees to boot, we could be at the very tip of the iceberg of his greatness.

1. Will the Saints finally make it to the Super Bowl?

This last question is one all of us have been thinking about since the end of last season. The question is, of course, will the Saints finally make it to the Super Bowl in 2020? The Saints always come so close and then things absolutely fall apart. This year, the Saints need to prove they’re above their struggles from the previous years and band together to work towards their common goal.

Getting to the Super Bowl isn’t going to be easy, but the Saints have proven themselves time and time again. If they can stop letting the pressure distract them, the team would have already been to the Super Bowl by now. Their window is closing rapidly and 2020 is more than likely going to be their last year. Without Brees, the New Orleans Saints will have a major hole on offense and it’s unclear if they’re prepared to fill that void. Ultimately, Brees’ performance will dictate if they can go for another run in 2021 if they don’t make it.

The Saints keep getting closer and closer so 2020 needs to be the year they make the jump. If they don’t, then it might be a while before the Saints make it back to the Super Bowl. As long as the two units can work in tandem, there shouldn’t be any issues. As long as the offense and defense can come together, then there’s no reason why the New Orleans Saints shouldn’t have a Super Bowl run at the end of the 2020 season.
