Here are the top five players on the New England Patriots according to ratings on Madden 21.

As it does annually leading up to the start of a new season, Madden 21 released the full list of player ratings going into the upcoming season, including the full roster for the New England Patriots as they begin a new era of football in Foxborough in the 2020 NFL season.

With Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson as the cover athlete on the cover of Madden 21 this year, the game will be released to users on Aug. 25 to get them excited and ready for actual football to begin later on in the calendar year.

Five NFL players were among the elite in the 99 Club awarded by Madden, with one-fifth of that group being a Patriots player. The five members of the 99 Club are Los Angeles Rams defensive end Aaron Darnold, Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and New England cornerback Stephon Gilmore.

That’s a distinct group of superstars from throughout the league who, frankly, are hard to argue that they deserve that strong distinction from EA Sports. With one player in the elite 99 Club, two Patriots players landed ratings 90 or higher while a total of 13 players were ranked 80 or higher by the video game.

Before the real-life version of football begins later this calendar year, let’s dive into the top Patriots player ratings on Madden 21 prior to the virtual version of the game being released to the public in August.
