Madden 21 rating: 92

The second-highest ranked player and the first 90-plus player for New England according to Madden 21 is veteran safety Devin McCourty. McCourty, who will turn 33 years old in August, received an overall rating of 92 by the video game, the second-highest player overall and on the defense for the Patriots.

With that 92 rating, the veteran received attribute ratings of 90 in speed, 91 in acceleration, 62 in strength, 90 in agility, 94 in awareness, 81 in catching ability,  74 in tackling, 92 in jumping ability, 95 in injury, 97 in stamina and 77 in toughness.

In 2020, McCourty will begin his 11th season in the NFL and with the Patriots, having been selected to two Pro Bowls in the previous 10 seasons.

During the 2019 campaign, McCourty appeared and started in all 16 regular-season contests for New England, finishing the year with 58 combined tackles, 46 solo tackles, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and five interceptions at the back end of the Patriots defense.

The New England secondary has and will continue to be one of the more dominant units in the league this season, and the first half of the McCourty twins will remain to be one of the big reasons why that will be the case once again in 2020.
