3 NFL Playoff teams from last year that will miss the postseason in 2020

1. Houston Texans
Much like the Eagles earlier on, this addition to the list is not a prediction that Deshaun Watson will falter this season. Alternatively, it is a prediction that the Bill O’Brien era will conclude in January or so.
Texans head coach Bill O’Brien has made some curious personnel decisions during the last two seasons. This is merely a prognostication that O’Brien will soon pay the piper. In March, O’Brien sent top-five-in-the-NFL wideout DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona for aging tailback David Johnson and draft picks.
Six months prior, the Texans jettisoned two first-round picks to the Miami Dolphins for dominant offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills. It was a cosmic price tag for Tunsil and Stills.
These head-scratching trades will not cause catastrophe for Houston, but they will deprive them of the weapons they have grown accustomed to, especially Deshaun Watson.
Lastly, the Texans will probably joust with the Tennessee Titans for rights to the AFC South title. From top to bottom, the Titans are a more complete roster and arguably the owners of a better coach in Mike Vrabel.
If the Texans and Colts trade blows with the Titans and remain in the Wild Card chase, the young and upstart Denver Broncos will nip at the heels of the sixth or seventh playoff spot, thus making the Texans playoff aspirations even dimmer.
