These are the biggest Dallas Cowboys training camp battles for 2020.

Training camp is finally here for the Dallas Cowboys as they prepare to get a new NFL season underway. It’s a big season for the Cowboys as they will be introducing a new head coach for the first time in 10 years as Mike McCarthy was hired to replace Jason Garrett.

McCarthy brings with him an impressive resume that includes a regular-season mark of 125-77-2 and a 10-8 record in the playoffs. Overall, he made it to the postseason nine times including eight-straight seasons from 2009-2016. He also won the Super Bowl following the 2010 campaign, which was played in the Cowboys’ own stadium.

Even with all that success, McCarthy is going to have to prove he can get it done with the huge spotlight that comes with being a part of America’s Team. Love them or hate them, you can’t help but talk about them, which is why there will be so much pressure on the head coach.

As for the players, they too will feel plenty of pressure to get the job done. Of course, most of that is put on the star players with guys like Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, and DeMarcus Lawrence getting their share of praise for every win and plenty of criticism for every loss.

However, this is a team sport so there’s much more that goes into a winning season than just the big-name players. Each and every player on the roster has a job to do and they begin their work as soon as camp kicks off.

And with that happening now, we look at the 2020 Dallas Cowboys roster and identify three positions where there is a certain job up for grabs. So with that being said, here are the three biggest camp battles going on for Dallas in 2020.
