1. Las Vegas Raiders

Once Upon a Time in the West was created for the silver screen by famed director Sergio Leone in 1968. Now, 53 years later, the title could capture Aaron Rodgers’ next career venture.

The Raiders top this listing of Rodgers destinations because the fit makes way too much sense. Raider Nation sends off faint signals that it is emotionally torn on the longterm opinion on quarterback Derek Carr. He is the owner of a 39-55 career win-loss record as a starting quarterback, and that is undesirable. And then the man had a 100.8 passer rating 2019 which is Rodgers-esque. Derek Carr is a conundrum.

If the Raiders make the strategic call to part ways with Carr, enough money in 2021 would be available to land Rodgers if they facilitated Carr’s exit in a fiscally responsible manner. The Raiders would have to decide if that move occurred via trade or outright release.

But after that, it all makes sense to acquire Rodgers. His alleged affinity for the western United States jives harmoniously with the franchise locale. The Raiders will seek to fill the bleachers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas; Rodgers can single-handedly take care of this.

Head coach Jon Gruden is on record with ardor for the Packers quarterback. And most importantly, the Raiders have howitzers for offensive weapons. From upstart tailback Josh Jacobs, basketball player-like tight end Darren Waller, to speed tycoon Henry Ruggs III, Las Vegas would be a candy store for Rodgers.

File this destination under your “number with a bullet” headline.
