These five Las Vegas Raiders players will turn heads at training camp.

Football fans in the great state of Nevada have been waiting for this season for a while now. They finally have themselves a professional football team as the Las Vegas Raiders will take the field for them in 2020.

The former Oakland-based franchise is three years into their latest rebuild under head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock. The two sacrificed experience for extra draft picks as they traded Amari Cooper and Khalil Mack in 2018 for several first-round picks.

Now, they enter the 2020 NFL season after a second-straight season with multiple picks in the opening round which gave them two more potential building blocks in Henry Ruggs and Damon Arnette. They join forces with Josh Jacobs, Clelin Ferrell, Maxx Crosby, Johnathan Abram and many other young players who they expect big things from. And those big things start now as the Raiders kick off their 2020 training camp.

Here, we will look ahead to which players are going to stand out as we identify five head-turners for the Raiders 2020 training camp.

Honorable Mention: Damarious Randall, FS

Jonathan Abram missed the majority of his rookie season but he’s expected to be at full strength this year. With him manning the strong safety spot, the Raiders decided to go into the free agency market to find his running mate, which is where they landed former Cleveland Browns free safety Damarious Randall.

After starting his career at cornerback for the Green Bay Packers, Randall moved to safety — which was his position at Arizona State — in 2018 and had his best season as a pro. He was frustrated for the majority of the following season as the Browns elected not to give him a contract extension.

Now in Las Vegas, we might see the same Randall that took the field in 2018 for Cleveland. If so, expect him to be all over the field making plays, which is going to make him popular in camp.
