This pre-training camp mock draft gives an early look at the 2021 NFL Draft.

In an offseason unlike anything we’ve ever seen before, the biggest concern seems to be whether or not NFL games or college football games will even be played amid the COVID-19 pandemic. There have been opt-outs every day throughout the league and, as training camps are set to begin full on-field activities in the next week, the 2021 NFL Draft may be far from people’s minds.

At the same time, the 2021 NFL Draft was also brought into focus in recent weeks with some of the biggest news in the league over the past month. The New York Jets trading safety Jamal Adams to the Seattle Seahawks for two first-round picks and a third-round pick means that a talent-needy Gang Green team now has a pair of selections in the top 32 to change their roster.

Furthermore, a 2021 NFL mock draft is a great pre-training camp — yes, players have reported but they’ve just been testing for COVID-19 largely to this point — opportunity to look at the scope of football entering the 2020 season.

By constructing a mock draft, we not only get a look at the best prospects in college football this season, what is shaping up to be a unique conference-only slate for Power 5 schools, but also a look at where NFL teams are currently lacking on their roster or could be lacking following this season.

So that’s what we’re going to look at today, going through all 32 selections in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft with a mock draft as training camp is set to truly get underway and in the wake of the Adams trade. Who could your favorite NFL team be eyeing come next April? Let’s dive into it as the draft order was determined by our latest NFL Power Rankings.
