Falcons training camp will offer insight on these fantasy football storylines.

With the 2020 NFL season quickly approaching and training camps around the league beginning to commence, there are plenty of intriguing storylines to watch for when it comes to the Atlanta Falcons this year.

Although the storylines and question marks are important when it comes to the on-the-field talent in Atlanta, they are also important when it comes to fantasy football as fans worldwide begin the process of taking aim at players they would like to draft for their fantasy football leagues.

In 2020, that decision process might be a bit slimmer and more difficult for fans as players around the NFL continue to opt-out of the season due to COVID-19 concerns around the globe. That will likely continue to be a topic to keep in mind as the season continues to approach to an eventual start.

When it comes specifically to the Falcons, they haven’t really been impacted by players deciding to opt-out just yet. This could make things easier for fans who are looking closely at Atlanta for players and positions to daft in fantasy football this year.

If a majority of the roster does indeed return to the field this year for the Falcons, they will once again have some solid options to look at as far as fantasy football players on both sides of the ball in 2020.

When it comes to the offense, Atlanta has one of the best offensive groups in the entire NFL. That is led by quarterback Matt Ryan, wide receivers Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley and newly acquired talents such as running back Todd Gurley and tight end Hayden Hurst.

On defense, Atlanta struggled to some extend during the 2019 season and its defensive unit didn’t necessarily impress too many people, especially when it comes to fantasy football-type talent. But with a few new faces flooding the defense, the Falcons hope to improve that area of the team and prove some people wrong this year.

As the new season continues to approach, let’s take a look at three fantasy football storylines to watch for with the Falcons preparing to start another new season in Atlanta.
