2. Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals

This one almost feels too easy. Though there were plenty of critics of Kyler Murray as he came out of Oklahoma and was taken No. 1 overall in 2019 by the Arizona Cardinals, the simple truth is that the young quarterback did nothing but impress last season, getting better as the year went on. He finished his rookie campaign with 3,722 yards passing, 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions along with 544 rushing yards and four additional scores.

Not only does Murray now have experience on his side but the Cardinals also made the biggest move of the offseason, trading for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins from the Texans. Adding one of the best wide receivers in football to this high-octane offense and a team that will need to score to offset a suspect defense should set Murray up for a monster jump in 2020.

1. Josh Jacobs, RB, Las Vegas Raiders

It is truly baffling to me that people aren’t getting more on the Josh Jacobs train than they are. Yes, the Raiders beefed up their passing game this offseason. But this is a guy who, frankly, should’ve won Offensive Rookie of the Year over the aforementioned Murray last season. And he’s also a player who could see an uptick in his overall production in his second NFL season.

In only 13 games last season, Jacobs rushed 242 times for 1,150 yards and seven touchdowns but only caught 20 passes for 166 yards. The latter part is where we could see big things. Coming out of Alabama, Jacobs’ pass-catching ability was touted as one of his biggest strengths, something I believe we’ll see more of this year. If that happens and he continues to be a force in the ground game, there’s no stopping Jacobs from making the Pro Bowl.
