The Dallas Cowboys could still look to add some talent via trade in August.

After a pretty successful offseason, the Dallas Cowboys are preparing for the start of the upcoming 2020 NFL season. They’ve made some pretty big moves so far on their roster as they prepare for the upcoming campaign and the majority of them have been well received.

While fans were upset about losing cornerback Bryon Jones in free agency, they did find a way to land Alabama corner Trevon Diggs in the draft. Add free agent safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to the secondary as well as cornerback Daryl Worley who they signed away from the Raiders and they’re still competent there — even if they might not have their shutdown corner.

Dallas also improved drastically on offense. Sure, they lost their third receiver from 2019 as Randall Cobb agreed to a deal with the Houston Texans, but there’s no denying Oklahoma receiver CeeDee Lamb is a more explosive option. Not only that, but they replaced head coach Jason Garrett with Mike McCarthy which could take off the proverbial parking brake that’s been slowing this bus down for the past 10 seasons.

There have also been some improvements made on the defensive line as the Cowboys added Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe. The question remains as to whether or not this makes up for the loss of Robert Quinn, but their interior is much better than a season ago.

Having said all that, the Cowboys could still decide they need to add more depth to their roster. If so, there are a few under the radar names that could be considered.
