Dallas Cowboys score Quincy Roche in 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft

Jevon Holland could be the long-term answer a safety for the Dallas Cowboys.
This season, the Dallas Cowboys finally added a solid starting safety in the offseason. After years of neglecting the position, they signed Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. The former first-round pick out of Alabama might not be on the same level as Earl Thomas or Jamal Adams, but he’s a capable starter who will make the Dallas secondary better.
The problem is, he was given just a one-year contract. And with Xavier Woods in the final year of his rookie deal, it’s highly probable that the Cowboys will again be in need of at least one safety in 2021. For that reason, they used their second-round pick on Oregon’s Jevon Holland.
In two seasons with the Ducks, Holland has 108 tackles with nine interceptions. He’s great as a deep safety but also lines up as a slot corner for Oregon. Hos coverage skill makes him an ideal fit for the Cowboys but he’s also very solid in the run game.
The one knock on Holland is that while he can do just about everything well, he doesn’t really stand out in any one area. Of course, for Cowboys fans, they’ll be thrilled to add him simply due to him not being a liability in coverage. Not only that but his ability to take the ball away is something they have been begging the team to target for years now.
