2. Nick Eubanks, TE, Michigan

Over his first three seasons at Michigan, despite the potential matchup nightmare he creates, tight end Nick Eubanks hasn’t particularly seen a ton of work in the passing game. In 19 career games, he has only 35 receptions, though he does have 461 yards and five scores to his credit.

When you turn on the film with Eubanks, though, you can see the upside the young player possesses. At 6-5, 256 pounds, he could be nearly impossible to cover at either the Big Ten or the NFL level. Showing it for the Wolverines, however, is something that he needs to do in order to boost his 2021 NFL Draft stock.

Eubanks isn’t much of a blocker, despite the frame to do so. Highlighting some further development there as an inline tight end while also playing a bigger role in the passing offense could make Eubanks a top-64 lock. That’s why the 2020 season is key for the tight end.

1. Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn State

Looking at the production, edge rusher Jayson Oweh hasn’t done all that much for the Nittany Lions over two seasons. In 13 games, the 6-5, 255-pounder has just 7.0 sacks and as many tackles for loss to his name. But his 2021 NFL Draft stock is tied to what he could be.

Bruce Feldman of The Athletic (subscription required) recently published his annual “Freaks List” for college football and Oweh was featured. At his size, Penn State coaches say he ran a 4.33-second 40-yard dash while putting up incredible numbers in the weight room as well. Even if those numbers are exaggerated, Oweh is clearly cut from a different cloth as an athlete.

It’s all about getting to show off his prowess as an edge rusher, though. He’s been a rotational player behind the likes of Yetur Gross-Matos and 2020 was supposed to be his turn to get starting snaps. If the Big Ten were to cancel the season, it would only leave potential as Oweh’s calling card.
