Do you remember the good ole days of fantasy football? Just a bunch of has-been high school quarterbacks sitting around the backroom table of the local VFW. This was before the internet became the “internet.” Before the days of analytics and podcasts. You took guys because you knew their situation. You knew if they were on a new team, if they had new teammates or favorable coaches, coordinators and so on — but you didn’t know all the advanced metrics.

We didn’t need to know terms like Market Share, Regression to the Mean, SPARQ, aDOT, etc.  What does all that stuff even mean? You may find yourself asking “how can I compete with these statisticians and rocket scientists?”
