So here we are with a full 15-player fantasy football roster. What do we make of it — meaning, where is it the strongest and where could’ve been improved?
Wide receiver, in my opinion, is a clear strength of this roster. Godwin, Lockett and Gallup as a starting trio should all be top-20 players at the position and you could argue that all three have top-10 upside. That’s tremendous floor and ceiling for that position group with some high-upside fliers with Lazard and Reagor.
Meanwhile, taking the plunge on Kelce in Round 2 but also landing Hooper late has the tight end group looking phenomenal. Kyler Murray as a sixth-round pick is something to hang your hat on at quarterback and I could stream a starter in a good matchup during his bye week.
Running back is the one area where I’m concerned. I have supreme confidence in Edwards-Helaire, which is why I took him at No. 4 overall. But Singletary’s workload is a question mark, even if he’s talented, while Cohen is fine for PPR but not an overall game-changer. Henderson and Miller, meanwhile, are dart throws in crowded backfields.
Overall, though, this fantasy football mock draft roster with a ton of upside and, in a PPR league, some great depth, stability and upside at wide receiver with what should be a steady hand at quarterback. I’m confident you could win your league with this lineup, especially if one of the running backs outside of CEH ends up hitting big.
