Taking anyone on the Bears offense when their quarterback options are Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles doesn’t give you a warm, secure feeling inside. Having said that, in a PPR league, Tarik Cohen in the eighth round is a player who could end up being a great FLEX option, even if he doesn’t retain that value outside of this league type.
Cohen was targeted 104 times in the passing game last season and has 266 targets (203 receptions) in his three years in the NFL. Even if he has only 1,027 rushing yards, his role as a gadget receiving back gives him value in PPR leagues, which is why he was still a top-30 running back in fantasy in 2019. If the offense can even marginally improve, Cohen should be able to get closer to the top 20 this year.

Darrell Henderson burned a lot of fantasy managers, to some degree, last season. As a rookie, he came to Los Angeles with a ton of buzz about his explosive playmaking ability. Instead, he rarely saw the field and was a complete non-factor for fantasy football. But now that Todd Gurley is gone, things are wide open.
Rookie third-round pick Cam Akers and veteran Malcolm Brown create a crowded Rams backfield still but Henderson has more potential to crack that rotation this year, especially after a year in the system in a shortened offseason. This is a definite flier and might be a bit early to take one. Yet, I needed running back depth and, rather than taking a handcuff, I went with a potential starter or pass-catching back.
