Drafting your fantasy football team is hard. Even with fantasy football rankings, various experts’ opinions and all the other tools that are at our disposal, it can be overwhelming knowing which path to take when draft day arrives.

While I can’t give you the solve-all advice every fantasy football owner wishes they had access to, I hope I can at least point you in the right direction when it comes to drafting running backs in 2020.

So what specifically can you expect from this piece? The primary focus will be pointing out a handful of big-name NFL running backs who you need to avoid when drafting your team. For one reason or another, you simply shouldn’t be targeting these players — especially considering their current ADPs.

Obviously who you draft is up to you. I can’t make that choice for you, but what I can do is attempt to point you in the right (or away from the wrong) direction. As I will soon spell out, these running backs shouldn’t be on your radar unless they fall into the later rounds.
