Top 100 NFL players entering the 2020 season: No. 40-31

34. Tre’Davious White, CB, Buffalo Bills
After two productive seasons, White took his game to another level in 2019. The LSU product made the Pro Bowl and the AP selected him as a First-Team All-Pro. White finished the year tied for the league-lead with six interceptions. He also amassed 17 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, and 58 tackles.
According to PFF, White produced the third-highest man-coverage grade in 2019, only trailing Stephon Gilmore and Marcus Peters. If not for White leading an underrated secondary, the Bills wouldn’t have won ten games and made the playoffs.
33. Fletcher Cox, DT, Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia’s entire defense relies on a hard-hitting front line anchored by Cox and Brandon Graham. Without their two stud linemen, the Eagles wouldn’t have claimed the Lombardi Trophy in 2017. Cox is the third-highest rated defensive tackle on the top 100.
PFF raves about Cox’s disruptive abilities. In an article ranking the top 101 players from the past decade, Sam Monson wrote,
"It took him a few seasons to discover his best play, but since 2015, he has been the best interior defensive lineman in football not named Aaron Donald. Cox is the best power pass-rusher in football, with strength even dominant offensive linemen just can’t match up with."
Unfortunately, offseason foot surgery slowed Cox down in the opening weeks of 2019. After turning in the best season of his career in 2018 (10.5 sacks, 34 quarterback hits, and 45 pressures), Cox finished last year with disappointing totals. He recorded 3.5 sacks, his fewest since 2013, to go along with ten quarterback hits, 21 pressures and 40 tackles.
Despite his dip in production, Cox made his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl. While his only AP First-Team All-Pro bid came in 2018, Cox also earned Second-Team All-Pro honors in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
